9 Day Travel Challenge

I don’t know about you, but limiting my clothing options makes me want to cry. It’s basically the equivalent of cutting off my right arm and asking me to sign my autograph.  However, instead of giving up, I figured I would man up and create a challenge out of it! But nevertheless, I am flying home for the entire week of Thanksgiving to Dallas and I’m STOKED. Quite honestly, I am super sad to leave my friends and Los Angeles. I love that city, and it would have been fun to spend the week off of work hanging with friends, but family is waiting, and so is my limited fashion challenge. So here it is, the 9 Day Travel Challenge. And it begins today!

Well…it began yesterday with the dreaded packing. I sometimes forget that it doesn’t take an hour to pack, it takes an entire night. Especially for us organizers that want to squeeze in stuff like hats in the perfect little nook of your suitcase corner to prevent disfiguring your favorite floppy wool hat. After snapping this pic in Snapchat right smack dab in the middle of my packing adventure, I successfully got the job done! Next, sleep…thank God.

So today I got to spend the morning at church with my church family before flying to Dallas for the week. I’ve been styling my pastors’ for their own television show series, and we joked about me styling him for every Sunday service. But when he showed up this morning, he was so on point with his outfit, I looked like my services were not needed! It’s a big compliment to have a friend who is already stylish wanting me to style him. Just look at him! KILLIN the game.

Then I went to lunch with the girls and found this vibrant and fun mural on the wall. So of course we took a mini photo shoot. Duh.

I’m so in love with those colors. But what happened to fall, LA? It was 80 degrees and I’m thankful I wore a shirt under my sweater. Or. I. Would. Have. Died. Dallas is going to be cold and rainy. I’m praying I don’t go into a state of shock when I see rain. What is rain? I don’t remember. It’s been so long since I’ve seen rain. Funny. I’m so funny.

Welp. On that note. Stay tuned for the week to come! I’m going to force my mom to give me mini photo shoots with my different outfits. We’ll see if I’m successful or not!

-Breed style. Breedlove.
