A Young Adult: The Next Chapter

So you’re out of school, you grew up being creative in whatever area that was in, and then adulthood hit. You have to get a job that is not exactly what you wanted for yourself, you are finally earning enough money to somewhat be stable in the city you’ve planted yourself in, and now what? You’ve found yourself somewhat giving up on your creative passions/career, and now you’re questioning it all. Why did I sacrifice my passions for this job? Am I really doing what I want to be doing? Where am I going with all of this? Have I lost my creative side all together? I think I still have it, but do I have it as well as I did a few years ago?

YES. YOU. DO.

It’s 2017, and you know what that means. It’s time to push yourself. You might be going through the season of gentleness. You don’t want to be pushed too far past your comfort zone because you might just snap. But the truth of it is, it’s up to you to figure out when you’re ready to get filled with the intoxication of creativity again. But when you force yourself (and let me just say, when you are tired from your job and all your energy is gone, the last thing you want to do is use your free will to push yourself this one time). Friends, you will not regret that feeling of freedom within your mind that was created to be creative. Let me be your cheerleader and say “you can do it!” Short and sweet. No go forth and create!
