For those of you who know, I’ve been a dance studio manager at a pretty rad dance studio in Agoura Hills, CA for about 4 years. It was a season of learning the inner workings of a small business and gaining some MAD appreciation for dance studios all over the world (dealing with dance moms is NO JOKE… and I had it pretty easy!) These 4 years have been extremely rewarding as I tapped into my administrative side and KILLED it. I not only learned so much about running a small business, but I learned a lot within myself like how my brain works, how much I can handle, and how to genuinely love others that test your patience. 

During these 4 years at the dance studio, I have been working fashion stylist jobs here and there either for free or freelancing (including having my own fashion styling segment on TV… still so unreal), and I can FFIINNALLLLYY announce that I am leaving my job as a “Dance Studio Manager” entirely and only focusing on putting myself in the fashion industry. I have always envisioned myself owning my own fashion line or concept designing for a major brand, and I’m excited to take the first steps towards that goal by working as a FULL-TIME FASHION STYLIST! I’m so excited to see where this job takes me in this field. 

My friends know how much I love styling them and seeing their confidence sky rocket when I put them in something they would have never tried originally. It’s like opening their eyes to a whole other world **cue ‘A Whole New World’ from Aladdin** It’s truly one of the greatest feelings IN. THE. WORLD.

Honestly, creating this blog in 2015 was one of the first stepping stones to get me to make the move from the dance industry to the fashion industry. I never wanted to be a blogger, but what I do love is sharing my life moments with those who wish to read about them. I also love sharing my outfits on my Instagram @stylebybreedlove and adding my two cents into the fashion community. These two things have allowed me to start slow and embrace a whole lot of change. 

Don’t get me wrong, I am still a dancer, still performing, and I still love it all. I just won’t be working my day-job in the dance industry anymore. I love emceeing and hosting TV shows, whatever performing opportunity I can get, I will take! YOU CAN’T TAKE THE PERFORMER OUT OF THE GIRL…EVER!

Aaannnddd if you didn’t know (haha) I’m getting married in 1 month on LABOR DAY! Can’t forget this big announcement too! 

Don’t be fooled, although this blog post is extremely joyful and it seems like my life is perfect in this moment, there were 5 hard years before it. And I mean HARD & humbling years. I don’t want people thinking that life is easy. I did, and that’s why it took me so long to get here.
