What I Haven’t Shared On Instagram With You…

As most of you have noticed, I’ve been blogging on my Instagram @itslauralanders quite a bit! Life for Jordan and I certainly has been a day-to-day occurrence, taking things as they come and living intentionally with new struggles daily. It’s just the season we’re in right now, and we know it’s temporary. But man is it making us stronger!

Jordan is going through a job transition, we’ve been typical poor newlyweds (insert: “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” by Kelly Clarkson), and although i’ve kept it quiet about this on my Instagram, I got laid off from my job a little under a month ago and therefore i’ve been dealing with the woes of job loss. This has been my first time losing a job and it took me a while to come to terms that it wasn’t a personal thing. But as each day goes by, I seek wise counsel through my friends/community/family and MAN has it been helpful. If you were wondering, YES Jordan has been incredibly understanding through this whole process. MARRYING THE RIGHT MAN IS CRUCIAL. (woah.. had to get that out of my system haha!)

On my Instagram i’ve enjoyed talking about different topics each day with you. For those of you that know, I keep things pretty darn real and you’ve been responding wonderfully to it! The accessibility of giving you relatable content matters, and for that I keep most my blogs on my Insta Posts.

But for life’s big moments, catch ups, and things I feel need a greater platform, my blog will remain here for you!

Is there something you’d like for me to go into further detail about than on my Instagram? Some things are in the works for my blog that i’ll share at a later time ;-). Leave a comment below with what you’d like for me to talk about! Product review? Fashion review? Fashion styling tips? Anything specific? My experience with life’s struggles like job loss, loneliness, relationship loss, career change, my relationship with Jesus? Sound off below!
